At Dolce Vita Premium Cakes we always endeavor to find ways to improve our processes, so we can provide the best services and protection for all of our customers. As a result, our terms and conditions may change from time to time to comply with current legislation. So please check for any changes prior to making an order
How to become a wholesale customer
To be approved to become a wholesale customer with Dolce Vita Premium Cakes Pty Ltd, you must;
Have a current ABN registered to a food business, be a current sole trader, director of a company/partnership
Complete a credit application form and open a wholesale account
Maintain a regular weekly order with a minimum spending
How to set up a wholesale account
Once approved, you will be contacted by one of our Sales representatives to provide you with a welcome pack and samples to be delivered to you.
Details we will require from you
In order to create an account with us, we will need to obtain the following information from you:
Full name of director and contact person
Billing & Delivery Address
Valid email address
Contact Number (Landline & Mobile)
These details can be updated at any time by calling our office during business hours.
One customer cannot have more than one active account at a time and accounts are non-transferable. It is at our sole discretion to refuse services or terminate an account at any time.
By using our services you are entering into an agreement with Dolce Vita Premium Cakes Pty Ltd and as a result, you agree to give us permission to contact you via email, SMS, telephone or other means in relation to the following:
Your account and orders
marketing, promotions, special offers, newsletters and publications
Dolce Vita Premium Cakes Pty Ltd will not sell or give your information to any third party, or otherwise provide your details to another company without your consent.
Orders & Delivery
Placing a retail order Please refer to home page in the "how to order section"
PLEASE NOTE: Retail customers will be asked to place a minimum of 30% deposit or pay in full during confirmation stage to avoid any delays. Unfortunately, your order will not be processed unless a deposit has been obtained by Dolce Vita Premium Cakes.
Placing a wholesale order
You will need to set up a wholesale account with us prior to your first wholesale order. Once set up, you can place an order via email /text or over the telephone. You may also request for a recurring order to be sent automatically at your preferred intervals.
Phone: 03 9354 0074 to place an order. Our staff can process your order and arrange delivery or pick up.
Email: email@example.com our team will process your order received before 12pm for next available pickup day or to arrange for appropriate delivery day.
Wholesale customers must place their orders by 12:30pm for delivery on the following delivery day for your area. We deliver to all of Victoria. The locations we can deliver to may change from time to time. Please call our sales team to find out if we deliver to your location.
You will be asked to confirm your order and account details each time you place an order.
Set delivery times are not guaranteed as many factors can play a part in when your goods are delivered, such as, traffic, vehicle issues, delivery location etc. We ask that If you have a specific time you would like your items to be delivered, to advise us well in advance so we can cater to your desired time frame. If your delivery has not arrived within the estimated time frame, please contact our team on 03 9354 0074.
Changing your order
You can add to or cancel your order any time prior to the 12:30pm cut off, after this time, we cannot guarantee any alterations to your order. Dolce Vita Premium Cakes Pty Ltd reserves the rights to refuse any changes or cancellations after the indicated cut off time.
You must pay for products (including any delivery fees and taxes) which you have ordered, even if you cancel or change orders after the cut off times.
Receiving your products
You will receive the products to the delivery address you provide. To prevent any delays in your delivery, please ensure that your delivery location is tidy and free from obstruction.
At the time of delivery, you will be asked to sign a copy of the Tax Invoice provided to acknowledge that the goods were delivered in good and proper condition. Where you have nominated another person to accept your delivery on your behalf, the invoice will need to be signed to acknowledge that they have inspected the goods. The signed copy of your Tax invoice will then be obtained by our accounts department for processing.
Once payment has been received and products have been signed off, title of goods will then be transferred to you and you will be responsible for all the products which have been delivered. Therefore, it is very important that you ensure all products are thorough checked against your Tax Invoice.
The following are things you will need to look for when checking through your products:
Correct Items are being delivered
Correct pricing issued
Use by or Best before dates
Public Holidays: Please note that we are closed on public holidays. We request that customers place orders as early as possible to ensure you have sufficient stock levels.
Deliveries to the Melbourne CBD - Incur a special flat rate of $15.00 (Inc. GST)).
Deliveries to all other areas - Incur a flat rate of $20.00 or more (Inc GST) depending on the area.
You are always welcome to pick up your orders from our head office located in North Coburg. It will be a pleasure to meet you!
Product Issues & Returns
If for any reason you have received an incorrect item or have received something you are not satisfied with, we will ensure that the product(s) will be replaced. However, a staff at Dolce Vita Premium Cakes must be notified via telephone within 24 hours of delivery being made and return any products to the driver as directed. Due to item tracking, we request that you do not return any goods to us without obtaining prior authorisation.
For the consideration of a credit note or refund where there is an issue with an item, the customer must refrigerate or freeze the goods immediately and return the item in its original packaging back to us on the following business day.

Full details of the defect or other reason for the return.
Once we have been notified, please print and complete a Returns form with your items. We will not accept any returned goods without a returns form attached, as we may not be able to identify sufficient details to enable us to attend to your complaint.
You will not be eligible for a credit or refund if:
No authorisation was given by our customer service team
Returns form is not attached to your goods
It is more than 2 business days after your goods were signed and delivered.
You or your representative's order error
If items have been left out for long periods without suitable refrigeration.
PLEASE NOTE: Once goods have been signed off, it is deemed that it has been checked and in good condition and we will not accept any claim for damage or unsatisfactory quality after 48 hours of receiving your products
As our innovative team is always looking for ways to improve our products and to cater to customer's feedback, product designs may change over time and due to quality control, all our products are hand made and made to order, so some variation to pictures on our catalogue, website or Facebook page may occur.
Variations in colour may also occur due to variations of colour perception between computer monitors, or the lighting or conditions that the original photo was exposed to.
The Dolce Vita chef's will always try to make every effort to ensure availability of all products in our range. However, we cannot guarantee that goods advertised on our website, or in our catalogue will be available at all times.
